چکیده
Distributed Server Programming using .Net and ArcObjects Track: Application Development Author(s): Brian Flood This paper explores the use of both .Net and ArcObjects in the Programmable Mapping Cluster (PMC), a software framework to ease ArcObjects development over large groups of servers. The PMC makes extensive use of the .Net Remoting architecture to connect all servers in a cluster into a single, programmable entity. It exposes itself as an interception layer based on .Net Custom Attributes and several specialized classes. In this regard, developers can harness the power of many servers while still writing code that closely resembles the desktop equivalent. Topics will include security, load balancing, call execution/ interception, state management, and software versioning. Algorithmic Foundation and Software Tools for Extracting Shoreline Features from Remote Sensing Imagery and LiDAR Data
This paper presents algorithmic components and corresponding software routines for extracting shoreline features from remote sensing imagery and LiDAR data. Conceptually, shoreline features are treated as boundary lines between land objects and water objects. Numerical algorithms have been identified and devised to segment and classify remote sensing imagery and LiDAR data into land and water p...
متن کاملDistributed S-Net
S-NET is a declarative coordination language and component technology primarily aimed at modern multicore/many-core chip architectures. It builds on the concept of stream processing to structure dynamically evolving networks of communicating asynchronous components, which themselves are implemented using a conventional language suitable for the application domain. We sketch out the design and i...

متن کاملInteroperability between .Net framework and Python in Component way
The objective of this work is to make interoperability of the distributed object based on CORBA middleware technology and standards. The distributed objects for the client-server technology are implemented in C#.Net framework and the Python language. The interoperability result shows the possibilities of application in which objects can communicate in different environment and different languag...
متن کاملRemoting in C# and .NET
This is the first in a series of tutorial columns that shall deal with specialized aspects of C# programming and the .NET framework. The .NET Remoting API is the equivalent of the Java Remote Method Invocation (RMI) API. Both frameworks allow objects on a client machine to communicate with remote objects on a server. To me, the infrastructure required in .NET appears simpler than in Java's RMI....
